Teresa Sapey is an Italian architect and designer born in 1962 in Cuneo. She studied architecture at the Turin-University “Politecnico” and completed her academic career in Paris, where she graduated at Parsons School of Design. In 1990 she moved to Madrid (Spain) where she has opened her own architecture Studio. Teacher of plastic investigation at Universidad Camilo José in Madrid, Teresa Sapey took part at the “Hotel Puerta América Project” in which she has collaborated with 18 architects, such as: Jean Nouvel, Arata Isozaki, Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid. Among her latest prizes she won, we’d like to remember: in 2010 the Plus Interior Design and she was named by Marie Claire Magazine among the 10 Women of the Year; in 2011 she has been the chosen architect by Citroen to work at the design of new Citroen DS3 and, in the same year, she won the Golden Medal 2011 of Foro Europa 2001.
