Raimond Puts, Dutch, born in 1937 and died in 2012, was a professor of mathematics and technical engineer, trained in metalworking and became a machine designer. He combined his passion for geometry, engineering and machining metals in the famous Raimond suspension lamp, thanks to which it will win the Woonproduct of 2010 award. For his innovative products he is known by Moooi as the man who brought the starry sky into our homes.
