Koen Van Guijze is a Belgian designer best known for his projects for the Serax brand. In Antwerp in 1996 he founded Accessori, his design studio, with which he mainly develops architectural lighting. His style is minimalist, sometimes brutalist, that does not leave out sophisticated details and especially that prefers the use of materials such as steel, cement, ceramics, brass, cork, sand and paper. Strongly inspired by his creativity, in 2018 to design for SERAX but at the same time collaborates with Vandenweghe, Modernshapes, Piet Boon, Sergio Herman and’t Zilte, creating lighting works tailored to measure. He also participates in events such as the Collectible and the Contemporary Design Market Bruxelles.
