Alfonso Bialetti& C. was born in 1919 in Crusinallo, in the province of Verbania, as a workshop in which semifinished aluminium products were produced. In 1933, Alfonso Bialetti invented the first moka in the world: the product was so successful that the workshop specialized in the production of moka pots. In 1947, Renato Bialetto, son of the founder, started the exportation of Bialetti’s products abroad: he obtained a successful outcome all over the world. In 1952, the designer Paul Campani created Bialetti’s famous symbol, “the little man with moustaches”. Since 1993, the company merged with Rondine Italia, an important company in province of Brescia, and together they gave life to Bialetti Industrie’s group. During these years, Bialetti’s objectives did not change: the will to propose everyday things, characterized by high-quality materials and by a peerless attention for design and details. After revolutionizing the world of coffee in the past, Bialetti has not stop and keeps on proposing as an innovator in this field. Bialetti is still today one of the most important Italian brands. Its modern and unique products are known worldwide.
