The ash stool with sled base Osaka Metal 5716, designed by designers Michele Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo exclusively for Pedrali, is part of a collection of chairs and stools with great ergonomics and lightness. The Osaka Metal 5716 stool has a 0.43 in. diameter steel tube sled base structure and an ash plywood shell. The Osaka Metal 5716 sledge stool is composed of pure and simple elements that generate a strong graphic impact, making this stool suitable for any interior space such as study, waiting room and office. The ash body of the Pedrali Osaka Metal 5716 sled base ash stool releases all the warmth of wood into the room. Solid structure, soft lines and innovative design are the peculiarities of this stool, proposed here with a seat height of 25.60 in. Available in different colors in line with current trends, the stool is available in sets of 2 and stackable up to 4 units.

Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo, both graduated in industrial design at “Polytechnic” of Milan are a twosome designers operating in various areas of design and communication. They are the winners of several awards among which the “Oscar of Packaging” in 2006 and they are also the inventors of international workshop in cooperation with design faculties in Emirates and Brazil. They are authors, together with Michele Cazzaniga, of the “Cartesio” collection for CEA Design and of “Malmö Chair” of Pedrali. Born in 1979 Michele Cazzaniga was also graduated in Industrial Design at “Polytechnic” of Milan. Since 1999 he cooperates with the studio of Piergiorgio Cazzaniga taking care of design and developing of industrial products and Interior Architecture. He gave his contribute as consultant to the “Research and developing centre” of Flos and he designed for international companies such as “Living Divani”, “MDF Italia”, “Poliform” ( DART extendable table and “DRAW” chair ), “Andreu World” ( SAIL chair). This last one, SAIL chair, won the Gold Award at “Neocon” of Chicago in 2011. Always in 2011 it was bestowed to him the Menzione d'Onore Compasso d'Oro (Gold compass Honour mention) ADI with the TENSE table system.
