You're reviewing: Le Creuset Carving knife 8 inch

In 1924 two Belgian industrialists, Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, decided to create a foundry which would produce various cookware items. This was how "Le Creuset" was born in 1925 in the north of France at Fresnoy-le Grand. Its activity began with the production of hand-made cookware items, melting cast iron into sand moulds. Artisans are essential in order to ensure high baking performance. As years ago, every piece is made from sand moulds in which cast iron is melted. The finished products are then examined one by one to detect any kind of imperfection and then two coats of enamel are applied. Thanks to an excellent manufacturing, a wise know-how and a high quality of the raw materials, these pots signed Le Creuset have the edge over the rest, and they can be used in a variety of ways: from preservation to food preparation until their cooking.
