Karman is an Italian company that deals with the production of indoor and outdoor lamps. It was founded by Davide Diamantini in 2005 in Fossombrone, in the Marche region, and its products are distributed internationally. The main objective of this brand is to allow customers to remember and reread the Italian tradition, while keeping an eye on the future. Karman uses materials of various types making the product simple but original. For him the lamp becomes an indispensable furnishing object, with its own light. The creativity of the designers also contributes to making it a unique and special brand.

Giorgio Biscaro was born in Vercelli in 1978. He graduated in industrial design in 2002 at the University of Venice, where he presented a thesis about LED lamps. In 2007 he founded his design studio in Treviso. Important are his cooperation with companies, such as Foscarini, Slide Design, Bosa Ceramiche, Gruppo Doimo, Crabo, Suzuki Italia and Neinver. In 2009 he was selected to exhibit his works at the Salone Satellite during the Salone of Milan, where he gained a lot of success among people and press. In 2010 he is again among the exhibitors with 12 new products: among these products there was the stool “offset”, which was nominated at the contest “Young and Design Award” and defined by the review Elle Decor “trend object” of 2011. In the same year, the review “Case da Abitare” selected him as one of the 20 most talented young Italian designers. Since 2012 he is the new art director of Fontana Arte.
