"Ingo Maurer, a famous German designer and entrepreneur, founded his company in Munich in 1960. One of the first creations of the brand is the Bulb table lamp (1966), and over the years several designs will be added to the collection. of the Museum of Modern Art, New York Art: Gulp (1969), Light Structure (1970), Lucellino Wall, Zettel'z (1999), Campari Light (2002) and Porca Miseria (2003).
His team is composed of 60 designers who transmit their lighting ideas in each creation. Since the mid-sixties, Ingo Maurer has been creating special lamps, lighting systems and unique pieces distributed around the world.
There is a growing demand for exhibition assistance, planning, lighting planning and interior design."

"Ingo Maurer completed his graphic studies in Monaco in 1958 and lived as an independent designer between New York and San Francisco between 1960 and 1963.
The Ingo Maurer company was born in 1960 and the first works of this new brand include the Bulb table lamp (1966), the Light structure (1970) and the Campari Light lamp (2002).
For his work and commitment to lighting fixtures, he has received numerous international awards, including the Munich City Design Award (1999), Disseny Spring in Barcelona (2001) and the Georg Jensen Prize in Copenhagen (2003). In 2005 he was appointed Royal Designer of Industry by the Royal Society of Arts in London and in 2011 he won the Compasso d'Oro Award, an industrial design association. Ingo Maurer lives and works today in Germany in Munich. "
