Alberto Werner Arter graduated in 1969 at the University Institute for Architecture of Venice. After having graduated, he first cooperated and then worked for the laboratory of arts and costumes of Palazzo Grassi, carrying out and developing in-depth analysis concerning the relationship between architecture and photography. For many years he worked as architect and designer in Venice and Geneva, giving his contribution to many ambitious projects, such as the Dupont-Nemour buildings and the underground garage under the lake of Geneva. In 1971 he won the contest of the Federal Government for projecting assignments, and in 1975 he founded in Venice the team ATERCOM, that studies the specific relationships between design and product distribution. Fabrizio Citton also graduated at the University Institute for Architecture of Venice in 1990. He interested immediately in interior design, visual selling, graphic and design. In the same year, together with Alberto Arter, he founded the architecture studio Arter&Citton, a team who carries out researches in the fields of design, navigation, architecture, graphic and communication. Both were among the founders in 1997 of the laboratory of design and contemporary arts, and developed analysis in the areas of Urban design and Alternative Design, with particular attention to the sector of lighting.
