Qeeboo is an italian firm founded in 2016 by Stefano Giovannoni, prominent figure of the italian design, in which he is designer, owner and art director. What shares the products of the collection Qeeboo is that they are design objects that seem proper art works, but they also have a strong functionality. Pure design, but with definitely affordable prices also thanks to the brand philosophy that presents and sells mainly on on-line platforms. The Rabbit Chair, rabbit-shaped chair, presented at Fuorisalone 2016, has become very soon the must have of the year. The production of the whole collection is for half italian and for half produced in the emerging countries, and boasts of the collaboration with designer of international fame among which: Andrea Branzi, Front, Richard Hutten, Marcel Wanders and Nika Zupanc. Products realized using industrial advanced techniques and technologies, but which don’t leave out the playful and ergonomic spirit.

Stefano Giovannoni was born in 1954 at La Spezia. He got his graduation in Architecture in 1978 in Florence where he takes up the teaching at Architecture faculty till 1991. He was also teacher of master at Domus Academy in Milano, at the Project University of Reggio Emilia and professor of Industrial Design at Architecture University of Genoa. In 1980 he won the first award at the “Shinkenchiku Residential Design Competition” with Kisho Kurokawa as judge and the competition for a Place at Santa Croce sull’Arno. His works are part of permanent files of Georges Pompidou centre in Paris and Moma New York. Many of his projects got the “Design Plus” at “Ambiente” Frankfurt Fair in 1994, 1996 and 1998, the “Hannover Forum Design” award in 1999 and they got selected at Compasso D’Oro ADI Milan in 1996 and 1998. Stefano Giovannoni designed products of big success among which “Girotondo” and “Mami” for Alessi, as well as “Bombo” for Magis.
